Saturday we took Hayden to his first Easter egg hunt. It went exactly as I expected. Hayden grabbed an egg and promptly sat down in the dirt. I handed him a second egg and put a third in his basket, hoping he would get the idea and grab a few more. No dice. He held the two eggs in his hands and grinned a crazy man. He was content to hold his eggs the rest of the day.
Later in the day, there was an egg hunt for the older kids. Bailee is too old now, so she had to sit on the sidelines with the boring adults. Bostyn had fun though and brought in quite a haul.
More Easter fun this weekend, with the traditional egg dying and possibly some water skiing! Stay tuned!
