Our nation's capital

Sunday we headed in to D.C. for a family day. We went to the Museum of Crime and Punishment first, then went down to the mall. All of the monuments were even more beautiful, with the fall leaves on the trees.

Hayden found a few squirrels and had a blast chasing them around the steps. He got irritated when they would jump off the steps into the bushes.

I love living so close to DC. There is so much to see and do. It is great to be a tourist in your own backyard.

How fun! Great pics too! That would be cool to live so close to DC. We'd love to be able to take the kids someday. We spent 1 day there when Cass was a baby. There's so much to see & do. :)

DC is somewhere I would love to visit. There is so much history there. Brady laughs cause I have been to a ton of countries outside of the US, but still havent made it to the capital :) Nice family picture! I also love the one at sunset. Beautiful!
