East Coast Livin'

It seems like time is going by faster and faster. Hayden is already over 10 months and we are halfway through the school year. We are all loving being on the east coast. I am stretching my wings and doing things that I wouldn't normally do. I've joined a mom's discussion group called "Running the Rapids." It is aimed at parents with preteens. It is nice to be able to talk with other moms and find that all my concerns are pretty common.

As usual, life at our house is busy and fun.

Hayden is growing like a weed. Already wearing Bailee's shoes.

Having some rare family time.

We celebrated Jake's grandma's "89th" birthday. She is really 93, but she tells everyone she is 89, so we just go with it. This beautiful little lady is amazing. She still chops her own firewood. Something that I, at 30 years old, could definitely not do. She is incredible.
Happy Birthday Grandma!

Cousins Nathan and Erin and Aunt Mary and Uncle Don.

We used the MLK holiday off school to hit the girls' spa. Potomac Mills has a spa that is geared toward little girls. It is so much fun for them. Not exactly cheap, but so worth the smiles on their faces.

We have also started our home search in the Maryland area. We found several that we like in the Poolesville area. It is a great community with a small town feel. Plus a major pro is that it is only 40 minutes to where Jake's office is. So stay tuned for possible news on our next big move!
