September is almost over and I can't believe it!
We have been so busy since school started.
Bostyn is on the tennis team, on a competitive cheer leading team and is still bringing home
straight A's.
Bailee is on a competitive soccer team, a dance team and takes piano lessons. She is also bringing home awesome grades.
Some days it feels like I spend more time in the car than I do at home!
The Friday after school started, we visited a water park in Virginia called Great Waves. The weather wasn't as warm as we would have liked, but we still had fun.
Bostyn going down the twisty slide
Hayden acting like a monkey in the baby pool
It must be a requirement for teenagers to ruin pictures with silly faces.
I have a dozen pictures of Bailee that look just like this!
We had a freak week of rain, just after Labor Day, that resulted in some unsurpassed levels of water. It caused flooding all over our town and partially into Bostyn's room. Yay.
Under all that water is a road....that's the road leading into town
Bostyn standing in our new in-ground pool!
Last weekend we celebrated Poolesville Day!
Bostyn was cheering in the parade, so we braved the wet cold weather to see her march.
Thrilled to be at the parade in the rain.
I don't know who was more excited to see the firetrucks. My little guy or my BIG little guy.
There's my cutie! G-O Bostyn!
Later that night, Bostyn cheered at the first home football game.
Mom and dad in the stands
That's my girl. :)
There isn't much left of September and then we'll be storming our way into October. We have a big birthday coming up in a few weeks too! From here on out, I just see our lives getting busier and busier!
