Back to School

Monday was the girls' first day of school, in new schools, in a new state! Lots of changes. Bailee is in 7th grade this year and is taking mostly honors classes. Bostyn is in Ms. Kierce's 5th grade class.

Montgomery county has one of the best school systems in Maryland. We are all looking forward to an exciting year!

Summer Finale

This summer flew by! Between losing our internet for a few weeks and all our family activities, there was no time left to update the blog. Here is a quick and dirty update of our adventures from the rest of July and August.

We hiked Sugarloaf Mountain....gorgeous views!..

Visited the National Air and Space Museum in D.C...

Walked the Mall (I think I'm trying to channel Nixon?)...




Played at the park...


Went tubing and water-skiing....


Hung out on the dock...

We had a great summer. It started out with a road trip to Savannah, Georgia and ended with a road trip to Fort Knox, Kentucky. We were lucky enough to be able to see my younger brother Kyle graduate from boot camp. What a great experience that was. Sad to see the summer go, but everyone is excited to start the new school year!
