Lego Exhibit

Last Monday the kids were out of school. Bailee had read about a Lego exhibit that was in DC. We decided to ditch Hayden's nap and head in to the city to check it out.

Ditching Hayden's nap wasn't exactly the best idea. He was very restless on the Metro and did not want to sit still. I'm sure all the commuters loved Hayden running back and forth between me, Bailee and Bostyn. It was a fun day though, it's always nice to do something different.

Halloween 2010

We had a blast this Halloween. Saturday we picked out pumpkins and carved them. Sunday we took a ride on a canal boat down the C&O canal and went trick or treating. Here are some pictures of our adventures and the cuties in their costumes.

Kyle Visits Maryland

Last weekend, my brother was able to visit us at our place. Saturday we went to a pumpkin patch and then to Great Falls.

Sunday we went to Monocacy Aqueduct and then back to Virginia to meet up with some family that we hadn't seen in a very long time.

Our visits with Kyle always fly by, but we all have a blast when we're with him. In a few weeks he will be stationed at Fort Sill in Oklahoma. We will be sad to see him leave Virginia, but we are so grateful and honored that he is serving our country.

Sasquatch

Last week there was a small sasquatch siting in our town of Poolesville. The photographer was missing, but the camera was found.
