Expensive....

Here is a picture that explains why I can't pay my bills. ; )


All three of my loves are addicted to skiing. It gets pretty expensive at $60 for adults and $40 for kids! At least for this season I am banned from the slopes. :)

January Update

Headed into week 31 and doing so-so. Contractions are still 30 minutes apart, but getting stronger. I pulled a muscle in my back, so sitting for long periods of time is totally miserable. At our last visit, little man weighed 3 1/2 pounds. He is 1/2 pound heavier than the average baby at 29 weeks. Oh joy! The doctor says if he goes full term, he could be 8 pounds! Well....what do you expect with a dad that is 6'6" and a mom that is 5'9"? I'm pretty sure he is going to resemble a linebacker.

December Update

I am starting week 26 and so far so good. The acid reflux and nausea are much more manageable now. At our last visit, little man weighed 2 pounds. Growing steadily. I am still having contractions every 30-60 minutes. Drinking a ton of water and staying calm really seems to help keep them down. We are headed to Virginia and Washington D.C. on Christmas day for almost two weeks. It will be exciting to see all of Jake's family and to also see the sights in D.C. When we get back to Utah, it will be a whole new year!
